How can I make a WiFi camera?
Digital video surveillance is provided via Internet Protocol cameras, often known as IP cameras or network cameras, by sending and receiving video over a local area network or the internet. (LAN). IP cameras, as its name implies, can join a network by WiFi or a Power over Ethernet (PoE) cable. They are a typical option for corporate video surveillance because they frequently work with network video recorders (NVRs) and occasionally digital video recorders (DVRs). Hence ICFix Service provides CCTV installation and service training in Chennai.
Charge your security camera:
To plug in and charge the camera, use the power adapter. Typically, a WiFi IP camera that you purchase includes a power adaptor. Ask the supplier for a PoE camera and get one that will work for the camera.
Connect the camera and PC together via the network cable:
Typically, a 2-in-1 or 3-in-1 cable would be hooked from the camera. Utilize the network cable to connect to the network connector you located on that cable. Next, attach the computer to the network cable’s opposite end. If your machine already has a network, turn it off and make sure it’s offline.
On the computer, run a search to discover the IP address of the security camera:
The security camera is now practically and physically connected to your computer. The camera still cannot be viewed on the computer, though. The next thing you must do is scan for the camera’s IP address. The same manufacturer who provides the camera should also provide the surveillance software. Use our test as an illustration. On the computer, we have a Client. When you launch it, it will instantly check all the cameras connected to the same local area network and provide the default IP address. (every camera has a default and unique IP address when it leaves the factory).
Change the computer’s IP address to match the IP camera’s network prefix:
Therefore, you obtain the default IP address of your security camera in Step 3. You must modify your computer’s IP address to 192.168.177.x, where x identifies the node/host and is a number between 2 and 254; the camera we use in our test has a default IP address of 192.168.177.100. The IP address of the PC is 192.168.177.12, so let’s assume that.
Charge up your WiFi security camera:
To plug in and charge the camera, use the power adapter.
Connect the camera and the router using the network cable:
Because a fresh camera wouldn’t automatically detect and pick up a network that it never uses, a WiF camera needs a network cable for initial setup. You cannot disconnect the connection from the camera and router until the WiFi settings are perfect. And once more, often the WiFi camera would have a 2-in-1 or 3-in-1 cable attached. Utilize the network cable to connect to the network connector you located on that cable. Next, join the router’s opposite end to the network cable.
View the IP camera on a PC or a Mac:
Launch the security program on the PC to add the camera and view live view immediately. We launched a Client for our test. The client instantly looks for and displays the camera because the computer and the camera are on the same network (using the same router network). In order to watch the camera on a PC, click “Start.” Additionally, you can configure the camera to have all the features you choose.
