Why is my phone saying no service & emergency calls only?
The “Emergency calls only” and/or “No service” issues are among the more regular issues that Android users go across. - On your phone, hold down the Power button while pressing it.

1: Choose the carrier manually:
In many instances, a Smartphone’s carrier can be manually chosen, enabling a successful connection to the network.
- Access Settings.
- Use the device’s navigation to find the Network settings.
- Select Cellular networks.
- Press network administrators.
- Permit network searching on the device. Tap on Search networks if the device does not begin looking for networks automatically.
- From the list of accessible networks, choose the carrier for the device.
2: Set GSM Only as the network mode:
Change the network mode of an Android device to GSM only if there is a signal issue preventing it from connecting to the carrier. 2G signals are stronger and have greater penetration than 3G or 4G signals. Also known to cause the Failed to Send SMS problem on Android phones are weak signals.
- Access Settings.
- Locate the location of the network settings on the device.
- Select Cellular networks.
- Select Network mode.
- Regardless of the device’s mode, choose GSM exclusively.
